Have you noticed that God woos us? Wholeheartedly. With the intent of establishing everlasting relationship.

With the help of fictional characters, I attempt to represent the lifelong relationship we develop with the Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Because this relationship is the most crucial, it touches the core of every aspect of our lives; hopefully, spilling over with love. “Love one another. By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:34-35

Sometimes I hear people say that reading romance novels breeds unrealistic longings. Really? How many romance movies have you watched this year? Hollywood loves to captivate our interests by providing light-hearted, emotional fodder. Talk about unrealistic expectations!

I have a burden to share how captivating and fulfilling romance can be when experienced through the filter of God’s love. I pray that something written here will spur you toward a personal commitment with the Lord and teach you how to navigate the pitfalls of relationship as we learn and grow together. Felicia Mires began her writing career decades ago when she became bored with what she found available in the Christian Fiction market. Hoping to entertain herself and provide inspiration to other Christians, she wrote her first novel, DIAMONDS ARE FOR EDEN. Since that time, she has written more than 30 Christian novels (all with a bit of romance), even becoming a finalist in the ACFW Noble Theme competition with A GARDEN FOR SARAH. Along the way, she has judged multiple writing contests, edited scores of books for other writers, and discovered a wealth of fascinating Christian fiction.

But, God did not create man, or woman, for books alone. Thankfully, there is relationship. Felicia has been married for over 25 years to Gene Mires, from whom she gains a plethora of hilarious and creative ideas. Felicia and Gene have three incredible adult children. Ahh, the drama…and unending plot ideas.
